Did you know there may be some makeup mistakes that you are doing that could make you sick and cause all sorts of health problems? These can range from not cleaning your makeup brushes or keeping makeup past their usage date.

- Not washing your hands before, during, and after application of makeup.

- Not washing makeup brushes or not washing them properly
- Clean those makeup bags and caddies!
- Do NOT use expired makeup. Throw old makeup out.
- Wash your lips before reglossing - it limits possible bacterial growth in the tube.
- Testers at the cosmetic counters are tempting but do NOT use them.
- Do NOT share makeup with anyone!
